Advertising Sales Executive
Department: Sales
Purpose of Job: The Inside Sales position focuses on advertiser acquisition, account management
and customer service. You will provide direct contact with advertisers from our office in downtown
Vancouver. You will aggressively pursue new business. You will also assist in identifying new
strategic relationships and business goals.
Competitive base salary plus commission and stock options.
Responsibilities / Activities:
- Acquire new clients and generate business through prospecting and qualifying leads
- Proactively manage client relationships
- Prepare proposals and online presentations to advertising agencies, brokers and large advertisers
Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant combination of education and experience
Experience:
- 3-5 years hands-on experience in software sales, business development, managing business relationships
- 1-3 years experience in online advertising sales
- Technical understanding of online advertising processes
- Experience in building sales in start-up or early stage companies a definite asset
- Experience working in a successful early stage company
Skills / Abilities:
- Solid understanding of online advertising solutions
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Solid proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quota on a regular basis
- Must be a fearless cold caller
- Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills and proficiency with sales tools such as remote demonstrations
- Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Ability to identify opportunities, revenue expectations, strategic importance, risk issues, barriers to entry, and critical alliances
- Self-motivated team player with an ability to work independently and a competitive desire to win
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team of technical, sales and marketing personnel
- Proven ability to aggregate and disseminate customer feedback/suggestions/comments to team

Controller/Senior Accountant (Part-time)
We are looking for a hands-on Controller/Senior Accountant to support our rapid growth.
This is a part-time position for 3 days a week.
This role is a great opportunity in a fast paced, results oriented environment where your efforts
will directly contribute to the organization performance. A great candidate is one who has both the
leadership qualities to manage the entire accounting function and the diligence to work on the details.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on responsibilities for full cycle accounting
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Cash management
- Preparing financial statements and audit papers
- Payroll
- Tax returns, government filing and remittances
- Ensuring proper internal controls
- Managing budgeting and forecasting process
- Ad-hoc management and board reporting
- Assist in financing and corporate governance activities
- Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related accounting experience with at least 2 years managing full cycle accounting
- A newly designated individual / final stages of a designation or qualified by senior experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Canadian GAAP
- Knowledge of tax and internal controls as they relate to financial reporting
- Proficient with Simply Accounting and Excel
- SRED experience preferred
- Hands-on leader who is capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
