Partner Sales Manager
Department: Sales
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Partner Sales Manager is primarily focused on the growth of the sales organization,
advertiser acquisition, liaising with reseller channel executives, and key account management.
Your primary responsibility is to increase company revenue through reseller channels while also generating direct sales.
You will play a pivotal role in getting reseller Account Executives informed and motivated to sell the Lat49 network.
In collaboration with the Senior Management Team, you will propose recommendations and implement the strategic business
direction for reseller teams and their respective markets. You will work with the channel manager to develop training
modules and collateral material to present to existing resellers and (new hire) account executives in order to meet and
exceed company revenue projections. You will be responsible for developing and executing a business growth plan that
will increase reseller sales performance while keeping aligned with current market dynamics and sales results.
As the face of the Lat49 Sales Organization, you will play a critical role in providing the R&D team with feedback from your clients/resellers that will assist in the growth and development of the company and its products and services.
Competitive base salary plus commission structure, stock options.
Responsibilities / Activities:
- Proactively manage client/reseller relationships
- Develop and implement reseller strategy
- Provide revenue forecasts to the Senior Management Team
- Assist in preparing proposals and presentations to reseller clients, advertising agencies, brokers and large advertisers
- Develop the Lat49 Sales Organization
- Acquire new clients and generate business through prospecting and qualifying leads
- Some travel required
Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant combination of education and experience
Experience:
- 5-10 years hands-on experience in advertising sales, business development and managing business relationships
- 1-3 years experience online advertising sales
- Technical understanding of online advertising processes
- Experience in building sales in start-up or early stage companies a definite asset
- 5-10 years experience dealing with and presenting to c-level executives
Skills / Abilities:
- Solid understanding of online advertising solutions
- Ability to lead and motivate resellers in remote locations
- Excellent relationship building and customer service skills
- Solid proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas on a regular basis
- Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills and proficiency with sales tools such as remote demonstrations
- Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Ability to identify opportunities, revenue expectations, strategic importance, risk issues, barriers to entry, and critical alliances
- Self-motivated team player with an ability to work independently and a competitive desire to win
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team of technical, sales and marketing personnel
- Proven ability to aggregate and disseminate customer feedback/suggestions/comments to team

Business Development Manager/Director
Reporting to the CEO, the Business Development Director will be responsible for establishing and scaling publisher and reseller
relationships. You will work with key executives at leading publishers and resellers across the globe to evangelize Lat49, determine
the appropriate product and services fit, and build long-lasting relationships. Position title will be commensurate with level of
experience.
Responsibilities / Activities:
- Working closely with the Channel team to research and target best-of-breed publishers and reseller partners
- Using all available resources at your disposal to secure productive contractual relationships with targeted publishers and resellers
- Coordinating with the Channel team the transition of all resellers into LAT49's channel management program
- Coordinating with LAT49 Operations to rapidly integrate and launch working relationships with all new publishers
- Working closely with the Channel team to reach or exceed quarterly revenue goals
Skills / Abilities:
- 4-6 years of sales and business development experience in the online advertising industry, from an ad network, branded publisher, or online advertising technology background
- Consultative approach to selling, in which you can identify a client's underlying business needs and craft the appropriate solution
- Strong knowledge of Internet advertising pricing models, ad optimization, audience trends and technologies
- Familiarity and comfort with online advertising technology
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Prior experience selling audience, media, and technology solutions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies
- High energy, self motivated and passionate about working in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Efficient travel management; travel will comprise 20% to 25% of your working schedule

and customer service. You will provide direct contact with advertisers from our office in downtown
Vancouver. You will aggressively pursue new business. You will also assist in identifying new
strategic relationships and business goals.
